What is a Certified Caregiver

01.What is a Certified Caregiver

A certified caregiver is a professional equipped with the expertise to provide caregiving services.

Caregivers are well-known in their field and recognized as nationally-certified professionals. They are the core figures within the world of caregiving services.

02.A demand for certified caregivers in Japan

As the aging population in Japan continues to rapidly advance, there will be an even stronger demand for certified caregivers. As of 2016, Japan had 1.9 million working caregivers. It is estimated that the country will need around 2.5 million by the end of 2025, meaning Japan must secure at least 550,000 certified caregivers over the next 5 years to meet this target.
